Chaos OS Terms of Service

Operator: Chaos OS is operated by Chaos Intelligence LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Chaos OS," "we," "us," or "our").

Platform scope: Chaos Intelligence LLC operates Chaos OS, a platform that includes sub-applications such as Vectle. References to the "Service," "we," "us," and "our" in this document refer to Chaos Intelligence LLC and Chaos OS, including the sub-application you use.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service, together with any policies, order forms, product-specific terms, payment terms, developer terms, marketplace terms, community rules, privacy notices, and other documents we link to or incorporate by reference (collectively, the "Terms"), govern your access to and use of Chaos OS's websites, applications, APIs, developer tools, marketplace/payment features, collaboration features, public pages, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, accessing the Service, using the Service, publishing content, subscribing to paid access, receiving payouts, creating applications, using APIs, configuring webhooks, or otherwise interacting with Chaos OS, you agree to these Terms. If you use Chaos OS on behalf of an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization or person, and "you" includes that organization or person.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Additional Terms and Incorporated Policies

Your use of Chaos OS may also be governed by additional terms, including:

If additional terms conflict with these Terms, the additional terms control only for the specific feature, transaction, or service they cover, unless they say otherwise.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with Chaos OS and are not barred from using the Service under applicable law, sanctions rules, payment-network rules, Stripe rules, or our policies.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher. If you use Chaos OS for an organization, you must have authority to do so.

We may refuse, suspend, limit, or terminate access if we believe you are ineligible, present compliance risk, violate these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, or create risk for Chaos OS, users, service providers, payment processors, or third parties.

4. Accounts, Authentication, and Profiles

Chaos OS uses Clerk and related authentication providers to support account creation, login, identity, sessions, account security, and legal consent capture. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, devices, sessions, API keys, and authentication methods secure.

One Chaos OS account may contain multiple profiles, personas, or identities, including real-identity profiles and pseudonymous or anonymous profiles. Those profiles may appear separately in the Service, but they are associated with one underlying account. They share the same account-level consent, security, suspension, termination, and deletion lifecycle unless Chaos OS expressly provides otherwise.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and profiles, including activity by anyone to whom you give access. You may not use profiles or personas to evade bans, sanctions, payment restrictions, abuse controls, legal obligations, consent requirements, identity verification, or other Chaos OS rules.

Chaos OS may require identity, payment, tax, account, organization, or profile information before enabling certain features, such as payouts, public publishing, application/API access, or marketplace participation. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and promptly update it.

5. The Chaos OS Service

Chaos OS is a user-account, multi-profile, collaboration, application/API, public-teaser/Page, and marketplace/payment platform. The Service may allow users to create, store, organize, publish, display, grant access to, and share content, including profiles, hives, organizations, collections, templates, artifacts, artifact revisions, blocks, responses, files, images, video, audio, messages, metadata, prompts, inputs, outputs, Pages/Portals, and other materials ("User Content").

Chaos OS may evolve over time. We may add, remove, test, gate, limit, rename, redesign, suspend, discontinue, or change features, vendors, integrations, limits, eligibility rules, pricing, fees, access levels, APIs, public surfaces, marketplace features, and technical requirements. We do not promise that any feature, integration, pricing model, vendor, beta, API, entitlement, or workflow will remain available.

6. User Content Ownership and License

As between you and Chaos OS, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to rights held by others and the licenses granted in these Terms.

You grant Chaos OS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, cache, copy, process, transmit, display, perform, publish, distribute, modify, reformat, translate, create technical derivatives of, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to:

  • Provide, secure, maintain, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Enable collaboration, access grants, publishing, public Pages/Portals, public teaser pages, profile surfaces, marketplace features, applications, APIs, agents, webhooks, search, recommendations, notifications, and other product functionality.
  • Process files, images, video, audio, metadata, prompts, inputs, outputs, and other content.
  • Provide support, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Use service providers and third-party processors as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

This license lasts as long as needed for those purposes, including for backup, audit, provenance, legal, compliance, security, tax, payment, dispute, and enforcement records. Deleting content or your account may limit future visible use, but does not require immediate removal from backups, logs, legal records, payment records, audit trails, archives, caches, or systems operated by authorized recipients who already received the content.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, permissions, notices, and consents needed to upload, create, publish, share, grant access to, transmit, and otherwise use User Content through the Service.

7. Public Surfaces and Public Media

Chaos OS includes public and semi-public surfaces. Depending on your settings, grants, product configuration, and feature availability, public or externally reachable surfaces may include:

  • Pages/Portals.
  • Public teaser pages for hives, collections, and applications.
  • Public handles.
  • Public profile behavior, if enabled.
  • Public collection, application, hive, organization, template, artifact, response, or marketplace previews.
  • Public image URLs.
  • Public avatars and Portal hero images.

All avatars and Portal hero images are stored in a public image bucket and may be publicly fetchable by URL. Other uploaded media, generated media, thumbnails, cached assets, previews, embeds, and file URLs may also be public or accessible to recipients depending on feature design, permissions, link structure, and settings.

Do not upload or publish content through public surfaces unless you have the right to make it public and are comfortable with public access, indexing, copying, downloading, sharing, caching, and redistribution by others. We may not be able to remove copies from third-party search engines, caches, archives, recipients, screenshots, embeds, integrations, or external systems.

8. Collaboration, Permissions, and Access Grants

Chaos OS lets users and authorized administrators grant access to people, profiles, hives, organizations, applications, agents, and developer-controlled webhook endpoints. Chaos OS enforces permissions and scope checks within the Service, but authorized recipients may receive, view, copy, process, export, store, transmit, or use User Content and related metadata outside Chaos OS.

You are responsible for grants, invitations, roles, memberships, API credentials, application connections, webhook endpoints, and other access decisions you control. You must have authority to grant access to any content, resource, profile, organization, hive, collection, template, artifact, response, file, Page/Portal, application, webhook, or other resource.

Revoking access may stop future access through Chaos OS, but it may not delete content or data already received, exported, cached, logged, stored, processed, or copied by authorized recipients.

9. Organizations, Hives, and Managed Resources

Chaos OS may allow users to create or administer hives, organizations, memberships, roles, templates, collections, Pages/Portals, applications, agents, marketplace offerings, paywalls, subscriptions, grants, and other managed resources.

Administrators, owners, managers, contributors, developers, agents, and other authorized roles may have control over content, membership, settings, payments, grants, visibility, integrations, webhooks, and public surfaces. You are responsible for understanding and using those roles carefully.

If you administer an organization, hive, Page/Portal, marketplace offering, application, webhook, collection, template, or similar resource, you are responsible for your users, members, recipients, subscribers, developers, agents, contractors, service providers, and other persons acting under your authority.

10. Applications, APIs, Agents, and Webhooks

Chaos OS may provide application, API, GraphQL, agent, webhook, developer, versioning, request-log, event, and integration functionality. These features can receive scoped User Content, metadata, prompts, inputs, outputs, event payloads, access grants, and other data.

Developers, application owners, webhook operators, and integration providers must:

  • Use data only as authorized by the relevant user, administrator, grant, scope, law, and these Terms.
  • Protect data with appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.
  • Maintain accurate application information, endpoints, contact information, privacy disclosures, and security practices.
  • Keep API keys, signing secrets, tokens, credentials, and webhook secrets confidential and secure.
  • Rotate, revoke, or report compromised credentials promptly.
  • Delete or stop using data after revocation, termination, or expiration when required by law, these Terms, Chaos OS policies, or the applicable user authorization.
  • Avoid misleading users about what data is accessed, how data is used, who receives it, and what the application does.
  • Comply with applicable privacy, security, consumer protection, export, sanctions, payment, intellectual property, and data protection laws.
  • Not misuse APIs, webhooks, agents, events, scopes, permissions, request logs, rate limits, or application credentials.

Chaos OS may rate-limit, suspend, revoke, block, audit, or require changes to applications, agents, APIs, keys, webhooks, endpoints, scopes, event subscriptions, and developer accounts for security, abuse, legal, business, operational, platform-integrity, user-safety, or compliance reasons.

11. Developer/API/Webhook Terms

This Section applies to anyone who creates, configures, owns, operates, connects, or uses an application, agent, API client, webhook endpoint, automation, integration, script, or developer tool with Chaos OS.

11.1 API Access

API access is a limited, revocable privilege, not a permanent right. You may use Chaos OS APIs only as documented, authorized, and permitted by Chaos OS. You may not bypass, disable, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, probe, exploit, or interfere with Chaos OS systems, rate limits, permissions, authentication, authorization, logs, signatures, security controls, or technical limitations.

11.2 Data Handling

You are responsible for all data you request, receive, transmit, process, store, disclose, or derive through applications, APIs, agents, and webhooks. You must process data only for the authorized purpose, maintain security controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, and honor deletion, revocation, and access requests where required.

You must not combine Chaos OS data with other data in a way that violates law, user instructions, Chaos OS policies, or applicable consents. You must not use Chaos OS data for surveillance, profiling, discrimination, unauthorized advertising, credential harvesting, spam, unlawful AI training, unlawful model development, or other unauthorized purposes.

11.3 Webhook Endpoints

If you configure webhook endpoints, you are responsible for endpoint accuracy, uptime, security, confidentiality, authentication, signature verification, logging, data retention, and incident response. Chaos OS may send event payloads to the URLs you provide. If an endpoint is unavailable, insecure, inaccurate, malicious, misconfigured, or noncompliant, Chaos OS may pause, disable, delete, or refuse deliveries.

11.4 Security and Incident Notice

You must promptly notify Chaos OS at support@chaosintelligenceinc.com if you discover or suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, security incident, data breach, webhook compromise, API misuse, or unauthorized disclosure involving Chaos OS data or systems.

11.5 Audit and Enforcement

Chaos OS may require information, attestations, evidence, documentation, security changes, user-facing disclosures, or technical changes to confirm compliance. We may suspend or terminate developer access if we believe your use creates risk, violates these Terms, harms users, harms Chaos OS, or violates law.

12. AI and Automated Features

Chaos OS currently uses Google Gemini to generate embeddings that support artifact search. To provide that function, Chaos OS may send the content and metadata needed for embedding to Google. Chaos OS may also offer additional AI-powered, model-powered, automated, or assistive features, which may send User Content, prompts, inputs, metadata, files, context, instructions, and other data to third-party providers for processing.

AI/model providers may change over time. Chaos OS does not promise that any specific model, provider, capability, safety behavior, latency, cost, availability, retention setting, training setting, or output quality will remain available.

You are responsible for your inputs and for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to use outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, biased, unsafe, infringing, non-unique, or unsuitable for your purpose. AI outputs are not legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, security, professional, or other expert advice. Do not rely on AI outputs without appropriate human review and professional advice where needed.

You must not use AI features to violate law, infringe rights, deceive people, create unlawful biometric or sensitive profiling, generate malware, facilitate abuse, impersonate others, make high-impact decisions without required safeguards, evade safety systems, or otherwise misuse the Service.

13. Service Providers, Third-Party Services, and Data Processing

Chaos OS uses third-party service providers and subprocessors to operate the Service. Provider categories may include authentication and identity, hosting, databases, storage, content delivery, payments, payouts, KYC, fraud prevention, tax reporting, billing, email, messaging, error monitoring, observability, analytics, product measurement, advertising measurement, geocoding, maps, AI/model processing, security, customer support, legal, compliance, and professional services.

Current providers include Clerk, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Sentry where configured, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, and Google Gemini for artifact embeddings. Resend is used only if email sending is enabled. We may add, remove, or replace providers as the Service changes.

Third-party services are not controlled by Chaos OS. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, security practices, retention rules, fees, restrictions, outages, and decisions may apply to your use of the Service. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law or expressly stated in these Terms.

14. Analytics, Cookies, Pixels, and Measurement

Chaos OS uses authentication/session technologies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, fraud prevention, performance, debugging, and core Service functionality. Chaos OS does not currently use advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or third-party product analytics such as Google Analytics. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update the Privacy Policy and Cookie Disclosure and provide any required notice or controls before or when they are enabled.

We do not sell User Content to data brokers. Privacy-law concepts such as "sale," "sharing," targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, cookies, tracking choices, opt-outs, and Global Privacy Control are addressed in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

You are responsible for obtaining required consents, notices, and permissions before using Chaos OS in a way that collects, uploads, shares, or processes personal information, sensitive information, or regulated data from others.

15. Marketplace and Payment Terms

This Section applies to purchases, subscriptions, hive paywalls, marketplace offerings, payouts, transfers, connected accounts, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fees, invoices, taxes, withdrawals, and other payment-related features.

15.1 Stripe Processing

Chaos OS uses Stripe and Stripe Connect to support payment processing, subscriptions, invoices, checkout, disputes, refunds, connected accounts, KYC, risk review, transfers, payouts, tax reporting, and related services. By using payment features, you agree to applicable Stripe terms, including Stripe Checkout, Stripe Services Agreement, Stripe Connect terms, Connected Account terms, and any Stripe policies or requirements that apply to you.

Stripe may collect, process, store, verify, hold, review, share, or disclose payment, identity, KYC, tax, bank, card, transaction, device, fraud, sanctions, and risk information according to Stripe's terms and privacy materials. Chaos OS does not control Stripe's decisions, holds, reserves, account status, onboarding requirements, payout timing, KYC requirements, risk review, sanctions screening, refunds, disputes, chargeback handling, payment-method rules, or tax reporting.

15.2 Marketplace Structure

Chaos OS's current payment model is USD and U.S.-focused. Payment features may be unavailable, delayed, limited, or restricted outside supported jurisdictions, currencies, payment methods, tax setups, Stripe capabilities, or risk thresholds.

Chaos OS may support Stripe Checkout, recurring subscriptions, invoices, refunds, disputes, Stripe Connect Express connected accounts, separate charges and transfers, ledger/accounting records, platform-account charges, Stripe-held funds, and transfers to connected profiles or organizations.

Unless Chaos OS states otherwise at checkout or in product-specific terms, the applicable hive owner, organization, profile, creator, developer, or connected recipient is responsible for the content, offering, subscription benefits, user relationship, fulfillment, representations, taxes, compliance, and support associated with that offering. Chaos OS provides platform infrastructure, may facilitate payment collection and transfer through Stripe, and may appear in payment flows or records as required by the payment setup, but Chaos OS does not become the provider of user offerings merely by hosting or facilitating payment for them.

15.3 Hive Paywall Subscriptions

Hive paywalls may support recurring subscriptions with weekly, monthly, or yearly billing periods. Hive paywalls do not include trials or promo codes unless Chaos OS enables them. Access depends on subscription status, payment status, eligibility, feature availability, fraud/risk controls, grant status, and the relevant hive, profile, organization, and account rules.

If your payment fails, your subscription is canceled, a dispute or chargeback occurs, a refund is issued, your account is suspended, the hive is unavailable, the offering changes, or Stripe or Chaos OS restricts the transaction, access may be paused, revoked, downgraded, or terminated.

Subscription prices, billing intervals, available benefits, access rules, and offering terms may change. Changes may apply at renewal, upon reacceptance, or as otherwise disclosed in the Service, subject to applicable law.

15.4 Platform Fee

Chaos OS charges a platform fee of 10% on eligible marketplace/subscription revenue unless a different fee is disclosed for a specific product, account, plan, or transaction.

Platform fees are calculated in integer cents. Unless Chaos OS states otherwise, fee calculations may use floor rounding to the nearest whole cent in Chaos OS's favor or as implemented by Chaos OS's ledger and Stripe configuration. Taxes, Stripe fees, chargebacks, disputes, refunds, reserves, reversals, minimums, and other adjustments may affect net amounts.

Chaos OS may change platform fees, payout rules, pricing, ledger treatment, rounding methods, supported currencies, minimums, withdrawal rules, payment methods, or Stripe configuration at any time, subject to applicable law and any required notice.

Unless Chaos OS chooses otherwise in its sole discretion or law requires, Chaos OS platform fees are not refundable, including when subscribers receive refunds, transactions are disputed, chargebacks occur, access is revoked, or accounts are suspended.

15.5 Payouts, Withdrawals, and Connected Accounts

To receive payouts or transfers, you may need a Stripe Connect Express connected account, successful Stripe KYC, payment-account approval, payout readiness, tax information, a supported country/currency, a valid payout destination, and ongoing compliance with Stripe and Chaos OS requirements.

Chaos OS may require a $50 minimum withdrawal balance and may impose a 3-day withdrawal cooldown between withdrawal requests. Chaos OS may change minimums, cooldowns, payout methods, supported recipients, payout timing, reserves, and eligibility rules.

Payouts and transfers may be delayed, reversed, offset, withheld, reduced, blocked, or canceled due to Stripe status, KYC, missing tax information, settlement timing, transfer failures, bank issues, account closure, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud, risk, sanctions, compliance review, legal process, suspected abuse, negative balances, reserves, platform-risk controls, payment-network requirements, or other operational reasons.

You authorize Chaos OS and Stripe to offset, reverse, deduct, hold back, claw back, or recover amounts related to refunds, chargebacks, disputes, reversals, fees, negative balances, taxes, penalties, risk losses, compliance costs, mistaken transfers, fraud, or amounts owed to Chaos OS, Stripe, users, subscribers, connected accounts, payment networks, financial institutions, government authorities, or third parties.

Chaos OS may maintain ledger, accounting, audit, payment, subscription, refund, dispute, chargeback, transfer, payout, tax, and compliance records even after account deletion, resource deletion, grant revocation, or termination.

15.6 Refunds, Cancellations, Disputes, and Chargebacks

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where Chaos OS decides to issue a refund in its sole discretion. Subscription cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges.

If a refund, dispute, chargeback, reversal, or payment failure occurs, Chaos OS may revoke access, adjust ledger entries, offset future payouts, debit balances, recover amounts, suspend accounts, or take other action permitted by law, Stripe rules, these Terms, and Chaos OS policies.

You must not abuse refunds, disputes, chargebacks, subscriptions, trials, promotions, connected accounts, payment methods, KYC flows, payout flows, or Stripe systems.

15.7 Taxes and Reporting

You are responsible for taxes, duties, assessments, reporting, registrations, exemptions, withholding, forms, invoices, receipts, and compliance associated with your content, offerings, subscriptions, purchases, payouts, transfers, income, and business activities, except for taxes Chaos OS is legally required to collect or remit.

Chaos OS and Stripe may collect tax information and may issue, file, report, or provide tax forms, including Form 1099 or similar documents, where required. Chaos OS may withhold, hold, restrict, or delay payments if tax information is missing, inaccurate, expired, or noncompliant.

Nothing in the Service is tax, legal, accounting, financial, investment, or professional advice.

16. Fees, Paid Plans, and Billing Outside Marketplace Features

Chaos OS may offer paid plans, subscriptions, usage-based fees, overage fees, premium features, developer tools, application features, storage, API usage, support, marketplace features, or other paid services. Prices, fees, limits, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation rules, and payment methods may be shown at checkout, in the Service, or in an order form.

You authorize Chaos OS and its payment processors to charge your payment method for amounts due. You are responsible for payment method accuracy, billing information, taxes, and fees. We may suspend or terminate paid features for nonpayment, payment failure, fraud, risk, chargebacks, or violation of these Terms.

17. Acceptable Use

You may not, and may not help others to, use the Service to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, court order, sanctions rule, payment-network rule, Stripe rule, privacy law, export-control law, consumer-protection law, intellectual-property law, or third-party right.
  • Create, upload, publish, share, sell, process, transmit, or request illegal, harmful, exploitative, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, threatening, violent, pornographic, non-consensual, privacy-invasive, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content.
  • Impersonate others, misrepresent identity or affiliation, create misleading profiles or organizations, forge consent, or use personas to evade bans, trust controls, payments controls, legal duties, or moderation.
  • Harass, intimidate, dox, stalk, threaten, exploit, or abuse any person or group.
  • Infringe, misappropriate, or violate copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, moral rights, publicity rights, privacy rights, database rights, contractual rights, or other rights.
  • Upload malware, exploit code, phishing content, credential-harvesting content, spyware, ransomware, malicious models, harmful prompts, or code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access.
  • Probe, scan, penetration test, reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, exfiltrate, bypass, disable, overload, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to systems, data, accounts, profiles, APIs, webhooks, permissions, or security controls without Chaos OS's prior written permission.
  • Spam, scrape, harvest, mass-message, mass-invite, manipulate metrics, evade rate limits, create abusive automation, or run unauthorized bots.
  • Abuse payments, subscriptions, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, connected accounts, KYC, tax reporting, invoices, payouts, platform fees, ledger entries, or marketplace flows.
  • Misuse AI features, including generating unlawful content, malware, deception, non-consensual intimate content, discriminatory decisions, unauthorized biometric identification, regulated professional advice without safeguards, or content intended to evade safety systems.
  • Misuse webhooks, event payloads, API keys, signing secrets, application scopes, agents, or developer access.
  • Interfere with the Service, other users, third-party services, payment processors, service providers, or Chaos OS's business.

Chaos OS may interpret and enforce acceptable-use rules in its discretion, subject to applicable law.

18. Intellectual Property; Feedback

Chaos OS and its licensors own the Service, including software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, logos, technology, models, code, infrastructure, documentation, templates, systems, and other materials, excluding User Content owned by users or third parties. These Terms do not transfer any Chaos OS intellectual property to you.

You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, create competing services from, or otherwise exploit the Service except as permitted by law or Chaos OS in writing.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, improvements, or other comments, you grant Chaos OS a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation.

19. Copyright, DMCA, and IP Takedowns

Chaos OS respects intellectual property rights and may remove or restrict content alleged to infringe rights. If you believe content on Chaos OS infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact support@chaosintelligenceinc.com with the required information.

For U.S. copyright notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, provide:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Chaos OS may forward notices to users, remove or disable access to content, terminate repeat infringers, and process counter-notices where required by law. False notices may create liability.

20. Moderation, Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination

Chaos OS may review, moderate, remove, restrict, label, downgrade, hide, disable, block, quarantine, or refuse content, accounts, profiles, organizations, hives, collections, templates, artifacts, responses, files, Pages/Portals, applications, agents, webhooks, marketplace offerings, subscriptions, payouts, or transactions if we believe they violate these Terms, law, third-party rights, payment rules, security requirements, user safety, platform integrity, or Chaos OS policies.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your account or access without prior notice where we believe action is needed for legal, security, safety, abuse, fraud, sanctions, payment, compliance, operational, or platform-integrity reasons. We may also preserve information for investigation, compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement, and legal obligations.

Termination does not relieve you of obligations that arose before termination, including payment, refund, chargeback, dispute, tax, confidentiality, deletion, indemnity, and compliance obligations.

21. Account Deletion, Resource Resolution, and Retention

Account deletion is not a full immediate hard delete. Before deletion, you may need to resolve or transfer owned resources, subscriptions, grants, organization roles, hive ownership, application ownership, webhook endpoints, marketplace obligations, payout obligations, open disputes, negative balances, chargebacks, compliance holds, tax records, legal holds, and other blockers.

Chaos OS may retain records as needed for audit, legal consent, payment, tax, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, provenance, backup, disaster recovery, dispute resolution, marketplace accounting, compliance, enforcement, and legitimate business purposes. Retained records may include account identifiers, profile identifiers, payment records, ledger records, transaction history, subscription history, payout records, tax records, legal-consent records, request logs, event logs, security logs, audit trails, public-surface records, and deletion records.

Chaos OS may attempt to hard-delete your Clerk identity separately from Chaos OS account deletion, but that process depends on Clerk systems, legal constraints, operational state, and any blockers. Deletion of your account does not require deletion of content lawfully retained by Chaos OS, public content copied by others, content held by authorized recipients, or records retained by third-party providers under their own terms and legal obligations.

22. Beta Features, Experiments, and Feature Gates

Chaos OS may provide beta, preview, experimental, limited-release, feature-gated, developer, AI, marketplace, payment, API, webhook, public-surface, or early-access functionality. Beta features are provided as-is, may be changed or discontinued at any time, may be subject to additional limits, may be unreliable, and may not be suitable for production or high-risk use.

You use beta and experimental features at your own risk.

23. Service Availability and Data Integrity

We work to operate the Service responsibly, but we do not guarantee uptime, availability, durability, delivery, latency, performance, accuracy, storage integrity, backup completeness, disaster recovery, or uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable, degraded, delayed, modified, or interrupted due to maintenance, outages, errors, attacks, traffic, third-party services, force majeure, legal process, security issues, or other causes.

You are responsible for maintaining your own copies, backups, exports, records, and business-continuity plans for content and data you need.

24. No Professional Advice

Chaos OS may include templates, examples, AI outputs, marketplace content, user content, recommendations, analytics, workflows, data, or other information. Chaos OS does not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, accounting, security, professional, or regulated advice. You are responsible for obtaining professional advice before relying on information from the Service.

25. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content, features, APIs, applications, webhooks, AI outputs, marketplace offerings, payments, subscriptions, public surfaces, integrations, and third-party services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

Chaos OS disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and that defects will be corrected.

Chaos OS does not warrant that User Content, public content, AI outputs, marketplace offerings, developer applications, webhook deliveries, permissions, payments, payouts, tax records, third-party services, or other materials are accurate, lawful, safe, complete, available, or suitable for your purpose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some disclaimers may not apply to you.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chaos OS and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost business; lost goodwill; lost data; data corruption; service interruption; security incidents; third-party service failures; AI output errors; payment delays; payout holds; marketplace disputes; content removals; or substitute services, even if Chaos OS knew or should have known such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chaos OS's aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid directly to Chaos OS for the Service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability; or (b) $100.

The limitations in this Section apply to all theories of liability, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, warranty, or otherwise, and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits, so some limits may not apply to you.

27. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chaos OS and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, service providers, and representatives from and against all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

  • Your access to or use of the Service.
  • Your User Content.
  • Your accounts, profiles, personas, organizations, hives, Pages/Portals, public surfaces, applications, agents, webhooks, APIs, marketplace offerings, subscriptions, payouts, or payment activity.
  • Your grants, permissions, invitations, roles, access decisions, or public settings.
  • Your violation of these Terms, law, third-party rights, payment rules, Stripe rules, developer terms, marketplace terms, or Chaos OS policies.
  • Your fraud, negligence, willful misconduct, unauthorized access, security incident, data breach, tax obligations, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, reversals, or misuse of the Service.

We may control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you will cooperate with us. You may not settle any claim without our prior written consent if the settlement imposes obligations on Chaos OS, admits fault by Chaos OS, or does not fully release Chaos OS.

28. International Use, Sanctions, and Export Controls

Chaos OS is operated from the United States and is currently focused on U.S./USD payment functionality. We do not represent that the Service is appropriate or available in all jurisdictions.

You must comply with all applicable import, export, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, tax, privacy, data-transfer, consumer protection, and payment laws. You may not use the Service if you are located in, organized under the laws of, ordinarily resident in, or controlled by a sanctioned jurisdiction, or if you are on any restricted party list.

Chaos OS may restrict access based on geography, sanctions, Stripe availability, payment risk, legal requirements, provider requirements, or operational considerations.

29. Privacy and Personal Information

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. These Terms authorize service operations and data processing needed to provide the Service, but the Privacy Policy controls our privacy disclosures where applicable.

You are responsible for complying with privacy, data protection, confidentiality, employment, education, health, financial, consumer, communications, and other laws that apply to content and personal information you collect, upload, publish, share, process, or grant access to through Chaos OS.

Do not upload regulated or sensitive data unless the Service expressly supports it and you have all required rights, consents, notices, agreements, safeguards, and legal bases.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We may provide notice by posting updated Terms, updating the effective date, sending email, showing an in-product notice, requiring reacceptance, or using another reasonable method. Changes are effective when posted or as stated in the notice.

If we require reacceptance and you do not accept updated Terms, we may suspend or limit your access to the Service. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

31. Governing Law; Venue; Class and Jury Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law applies.

The exclusive venue for disputes will be the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought only on an individual basis. You and Chaos OS waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general action or proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Chaos OS also waive the right to a jury trial.

Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property, security, confidential information, payment systems, platform integrity, or unauthorized use of the Service.

32. Notices

Chaos OS may send notices by email, in-product message, account notification, posting in the Service, or other reasonable means. Notices to Chaos OS must be sent to support@chaosintelligenceinc.com unless these Terms specify another contact.

You are responsible for keeping your account email and contact information current.

33. Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Chaos OS regarding the Service, except for additional terms incorporated by reference. You may not assign these Terms without Chaos OS's prior written consent. Chaos OS may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, corporate transaction, or by operation of law.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable. Chaos OS's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation." These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, fiduciary, or franchise relationship unless expressly stated.

Sections intended to survive termination will survive, including provisions on User Content licenses, public content, payments, payouts, taxes, fees, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, developer/API obligations, deletion/retention, acceptable use, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and miscellaneous terms.
